TL;DR
SYTalent is a specialist executive search firm focused on high-frequency trading (HFT), FinTech, quantitative finance, trading technology and investment leadership. Headquartered in Gurugram, India, we help FinTech, financial services and technology companies hire senior leaders and highly specialised talent across India, Singapore, the UAE, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia and Japan. Our search expertise spans leadership, engineering, product, risk, compliance, quant and trading roles where deep industry knowledge matters.
We work with more than 65 clients, from proprietary trading firms and funds to regulated fintechs and high-growth technology businesses.
We were founded by Piyush Ranjan and Vibhor Sharma, whose experience spans Saxo Bank, Times Internet, Hike, ETMoney and Mobileum. The firm exists because the roles we search for are badly served by generalist recruitment: judging a quant researcher, a low-latency engineer or a designated Chief Risk Officer requires understanding the work, not just the title.
What we do
We run retained and confidential searches for roles where a generalist recruiter struggles to judge fit: quant researchers and traders, low-latency and FPGA engineers, heads of quant and trading, payments and lending leadership, regulator-mandated control functions, and technology and product leaders in FinTech.
Our partners' experience across trading, financial technology and high-growth technology businesses shapes how we define a brief, where we look, and how we assess candidates before anyone reaches your interview panel. How we search sets out the process in detail, and engagement models explains how we work commercially.
Where we operate

Why we publish
This site is not a brochure. It holds more than 140 guides on hiring, roles, markets and the technology behind modern trading and financial infrastructure, written by the partners who run our searches.
The reason is simple. The fastest way to show a client we understand their problem is to explain their system properly before we ever discuss a candidate. A brief assembled from job titles produces a shortlist nobody wants to interview. Our FinTech systems section, market microstructure explainers and compensation benchmarks exist for that reason.
Everything published here follows our editorial standards: claims are sourced, dates are shown, methods are stated, and where the evidence is thin we say so rather than implying a precision the data cannot support.
